Do not shop with DMC Fabrics unless you’re ready to become family. I recently moved out of state, and the level of service I receive—whether I’m placing an order over WhatsApp or shopping in person—is truly unmatched. They are incredibly kind, patient, and never rush the process. They send detailed photos, take their time, and genuinely care about making sure you’re happy with your selections. When you visit in person, they go above and beyond—offering water, soda, fruit, and sometimes even gifts lol. It’s genuine hospitality that makes you feel so welcomed and appreciated. Every trip back to NYC isn’t complete without stopping by. And let’s talk about the prices—absolutely unmatched. DMC Fabrics is truly a must-go. I genuinely love them all. 🤍

The other day I visited this store in hopes of locating a particular fabric. I looked at fabric for a while with no assistance when the Indian looking lady approached me with an attitude and shouted that she was going to help me. She was clearly being obnoxious because I was unraveling fabric. I told her to watch her tone. Needless to say, I never got any help. 🤣 The store always has a weird smell and the fabric is exceptionally over priced. There are several Others on the same block. Skip this one if possible

While in the store, I ordered 100 yards of a particular fabric for my business. They were to ship it to me. Weeks went by. When I called to see where it was they said it could not be delivered and was on the truck back to them. ?!? I receive shipments all the time. Then they shipped me the wrong fabric (a lesser quality fabric). I then had to spend a month working with their sister store, Diana Fabrics, to try to get it replaced, because the staff at Exclusive Fabrics would not answer their phone. After several attempts getting them to send me the return postage and shipping label, I finally sent it back. They said they didn't have the fabric I wanted, there are no refunds, so I could just select something else. Diana told me that her secretary would send me a catalog. That took two weeks, because when I called and spoke with the secretary, she didn't know anything about it. This is now about half a year later. I didn't want anything else. I specifically ordered that fabric. Two months later, when someone actually answered the phone at Exclusive Fabrics, I was able to get an employee to send me twenty yards of what I ordered and another 27 of the same fabric (only different color). He even apologized to me saying, "I'm just trying to make a penny for the boss" . What does that mean?! Yay! A year and a half later, I finally have half of what I paid for. It's been three months since then. I've called, left messages and no one returns my calls. Don't walk out of the store without your merchandise! You won't get it!

As I walk in for the second time I regret going in once again. No one at all acknowledge you or notices you. The staff is too busy talking amount themselves, ruthlesslly. Finding myself grabbing fabrics and trying to figure out the types and prices as they are all mixed. Unless you ask for help they won’t offer help. Thank you for the poor customer service !

My daughter wanted a prom dress, but we couldn't find anything she liked. Instead we came to 5Star. They worked with her and made all of her dreams come true. The quality was also better than most of the other designer dresses we had looked at. Thank you!
