Café Grumpy - Fashion District

I had both latte and matcha latte. Both were delicious with the right amount of silky foam. Our barista was very friendly and he made nice latte art. The place is spacious with 2 communal tables. They sell pastries and cute merchandise with Grumpy face.

11.10.17 - Very popular spot and super friendly and organized staff. When it gets crowded they will work down the line systematically to help expedite orders.

Great coffee shop that I went to to get some work done. I love that they have large tables where no one bugs you though you stay an hour or two sipping at your latte slowly typing away. They do not have wifi tho- so I tether off my phone. They have different milk substitutes which I appreciate since I don’t drink milk. Try the rose water latte that sounds amazing though I haven’t tried it, in the hour I was there at least half a dozen people tried it. This shop has other shops as well baristas are very friendly and helpful. Stop by to check it out!

First decent flat white in NYC! I had a taste already before i added this review. Friendly staff and chilled surroundings.

FEELING GRUMPY!! Outrageous prices and small cups! I AM SO UPSET after paying $5 for a pathetically small cup of cappuccino. I live nearby, and would have come every day, if it weren't such a rip-off. I'm going to tell all my friends about my terrible experience at Cafe GRUMPY. Please spare us the "rustic" tables and folksy signage, and give people the value they deserve!

It was about 9am Monday and not a soul in the shop, we got instant help. Mocha was good, my daughter's iced mocha was good, and my wife got a matcha she enjoyed! Far better than Starbucks and the grumpy face logo is fun and adorable!

Our favorite coffee shop has moved. No longer in Chelsea but bit closer now that this location is in the fashion district Once again great coffees and noshes.

Just tried flat white only today, it was very tasty. Want to visit everyday for seasonal and other single origin.
