When I am town on business, I eat here everyday. Not cheap by local cost of living, I have to take a cab to get here from my hotel, and no foreign card payment accepted, even by tap. Worth it though. Updates: Dish X2 Black pepper tofu: tasty but bok choy small and sloppy wet (too much sauce for me - though fortunately kess than in photo, which looks like soup. Make it a real soup or make it dry. This is 'neither fish nor fowl') 3.5/5 Mushrooms mixed with rice flour: hearty amount, lots of aromatic greens! I like the powdery texture. Only at end did I figure out that that is not paper to absorb anything, those are small rice paper rectangles to make rolls. And I found the sauce both bland and sweet. 5/5 Dish X 2 - sea grapes salad not cheap in ingredients 5/5 - vegan sausage rolls, lots of greens! 4/5 Dish X2 - Thai sour soup 4/5 - Lotus seed fried rice 4.5/5 No complaints. Staff provides good service. Clean well-lit restaurant. Excellent, if a bit fancy, food (I just avoid deep-fried due to excessive oil). Only disappointment is location - far from my budget hotel. Maybe I will stay elsewhere next time. Dish X2 1. Salted roasted mushrooms: or some such description. But in fact they were battered and dep fried. Tasty but very oily. Huge portion. Waitress did warn me and cautioned me that that there would be enough for three (her estimate was exagerrated). There was so much oil on this dish that it er... affected my digestion. 2. Lotus seed pumpkin soup: I expect a certain astringent. Tasted as if they added sugar. I suppose pumpkin is naturally sweet, but there was something unconvincing about it. Perhaps they did not make it from scratch. But most importantly, it was a very small bowl. Damage was VND92K. Fair price I came by the next day (April 8, 13:00) Restaurant was closed. However, my only real complaints are two.. 1. the food comes very quickly. This means that it was at least partially made in advance. 2. Lack of sugar-free sauces. I prefer sour, salty and bitter to sweet. I had to ask for lime wedges, ground black pepper, rock salt and thick soy sauce. They have no vinegar on site apparently.
