(From UK, staying in Chau Doc as a stop to Phnom Penh) We are not usually vegetarians but loved the mushroom and vegetable hotpot! It is a pot over a little gas stove with tasty broth and tofu, chicken replacement (tastier than it sounds!) and dry noodles you cook in the pot and they have condiments on the side so you can make salty/spicy/sweeter etc. The lady helped us work out what to do. Delicious. There is a short menu of other noodle dishes and they have an English menu. Highly recommended.

Wonderful local family owned eatery with very delicious food. Don’t expect to get a long list menu. It is actually listed one the wall (see references form other visitors). And there is no guarantee that all dishes are available at the same time. For example: if it is breakfast time there will be soup available only. But believe me: everything tastes very nice. And steam cooked buns are amazing! One of the best places in town and it is highly recommended. If you're on a bike, the parking guy will take care of it.
