I had an incredible time at Lala Homestay & Trekking. On the first day, we went for a walk with Lala. She’s warm, funny, and very open. The views along the way were beautiful, and we stopped for a lovely lunch. The homestay itself was very clean and well thought out. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, and it’s clear that Lala and Su genuinely care about their guests. During our stay, it was one of the girls’ birthdays, and they surprised her with a cake. It wasn’t expected at all, just a genuine act of kindness that really shows the kind of people they are. Dinner and breakfast at the homestay were both really delicious. The rooms were very comfortable with cozy beds. In the evening, we spent time playing games, having drinks, and we laughed so much. We even ended the night with some karaoke. On the second day, we went trekking with Su, Lala’s husband. He’s just as open and welcoming, and very knowledgeable about Vietnamese history and culture. The views were just as stunning, we saw a waterfall, and we had another great lunch along the way. Overall, it was a memorable and heartfelt experience that I’d highly recommend.
