Europeans may be disappointed if they were expecting it to taste exactly like it does at home, but they should think about it logically instead: this is Vietnam, not wherever you come from. Pho (Viet soup) is almost universally Awful in Europe—it’s a direct comparison. Foreigners rarely make food the same way or as good as natives. This is a known quantity for thinking adults. I always sit in to eat and 98% of his customers are locals—if he made it exactly how they do in Europe, it would no longer be to local tastes. Probably would go out of business. This place costs 1/6th of what it costs at home, but tastes 80% as good. Scratches the itch!
