Kosala tea house serves organic teas grown in Vietnam. The owner, Mr Nhah, is enthusiastic and kind. He said his mission is to spread knowledge and understanding about Vietnamese tea, and he did a fantastic job with me. He opened many clay pots of tea for me to smell, and insisted that I try his Dragon Bud White Tea. It was so delicious, with a light, fragrant, refreshing and clean taste that has hints of lavender and rose. It comes from ancient trees in the high mountains of Vietnam, near Ha Giang. I’ve never tasted anything like it. It’s truly something special. And so is Mr. Nhah. I feel like I’ve made a tea friend for life. I highly recommend Kosala Tea House and humbly suggest you try the Dragon Bud White Tea when you visit!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stumbled upon Kosala Teahouse serendipitously while searching for a teahouse in Saigon, and my visit was far beyond what I expected. Mr. Nhan is a true wealth of knowledge when it comes to Vietnamese tea and tea culture in general. I originally stopped by just to buy some tea, but ended up spending three wonderful hours learning so much that it felt like I’d read several books on the subject! The variety of Vietnamese teas available at Kosala Teahouse is impressive, and the experience itself was both educational and inspiring. I left with not only excellent tea but also a deep appreciation for Vietnam’s tea heritage. I’ll most definitely visit Kosala Teahouse and Mr. Nhan again on my next trip to Saigon. Highly recommended! 🌿
The owner was super friendly and showed us step by step the tea making process. We drank three different kind of teas!
I stumbled across this place randomly and was so happy I decided to go in. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about teas. I smelt a few different ones and learned how to properly pour tea. It’s a very peaceful atmosphere and I sat in there for a few hours. Highly recommend!
I usually tend to summarize, but in this case I cannot. This place and the owner are magical. I was looking for a place like this today and in some way it got to me, I am so grateful to have ended up here! Congrats to you Nhan, because see you so inspired and so passional about what you do is contagious! I am really in love with tea, but here I've found something more than the high quality of tea they offer, the Deep sense of happiness and joy you'll find here has no price. you have to come to visit this place if you are in Saigon! plus, I discovered a new kind of tea and this is even more valuable. so, thank you so much! I'll come back the next days to enjoy other teas. keep doing like this 💪🏼🙏
If this teahouse was just a place where you could experience authentic Vietnamese tea culture, that alone would net this a 5/5. Instead, this teahouse probably deserves something in excess of that. The guy who runs it is an extremely knowledgeable tea merchant and is eager to share his passion for it with all his customers. For every of the 60 varieties of tea on sale here, he is able to talk you through exactly what part of the tea bush/tree that variety is from, the production process, the flavour profile, what differentiates it from the rest, where it's from, etc. etc. He is eager to even show pictures and videos of him travelling up and down the mountains of Vietnam, pointing out to you - dear tea drinker, you - exactly where the buds in your pot came from. As a result, from the more exotic (lotus tea) to the more quotidian (green tea) varieties, every pot produced was probably some of the best tea I have ever had. I didn't have enough space in my suitcase to fit an entire clay jar of tea, but if I did I would be preparing my verbal defense to the customs officers back home right now. 6/5 would make this a staple of future Vietnam trips
Great tea selection and they’re clearly very enthusiastic about everything that has to do with tea. They will happily show you around in the shop, and they’re keen for you to smell a lot of the teas so that you pick the ones that you’ll probably enjoy the most. They also provide detailed information on their teas.
Spent the most delightful morning at Kosala Teahouse where Mr Nhan shared passionately about their teas. Dragon bud tea is a must try. Lotus tea too - can only be savoured here. Drank the most pleasant tea in this most pleasant space, and left with more tea - in clay jars, no less - to continue this calming ritual back home.
