We had a magical time walking around Sa Pa for two days❤️ we got to visit three villages, endless rice paddies, mystical bamboo forests, and saw beautiful sceneries that I could never forget. Our tour guide, Me, is a STRONG woman who is generous, kind, and funny 🥰 every moment on the trek was beautiful and I felt humbled by the kind villagers who taught us about their culture and let us stay in their family house. Thank you Me for guiding us through your beautiful town❤️ I hope to visit again, and I hope Sa Pa remains beautiful, untouched, and respected by everyone who visits!

Zhu was our guide for our 2 day adventure through the mountains and villages of this beautiful part of Northern Vietnam. She was very friendly and made sure we were safe and looked after at all times. Everything about this trek was great. Although the clouds were low the view were a bit limited the whole experience was very enjoyable. The homestay beds were comfortable and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
Thank you to the best guide Sang for this amazing 1 day trekking in Sapa and villages around. She was very knowledgeable about agriculture, plants & Hmong culture, we have learned a lot thanks to her. After around 3 hours of walking in the morning, we had a very good lunch with a beautiful mountain view. We then continued to walk in the rice fields and bamboo forest to reach another village where our driver took us back to Sapa. We walked 15km in total at a good & easy pace. I highly recommend booking with Trekking Tour Sapa as they employ local village people. Thank you again for the best day!! 🙏🏻😊👍🏼
We had two wonderful days exploring the countryside around Sapa with Tung. We walked through the rice fields — they were just being prepared for the new season, so even without the lush green, the scenery was absolutely stunning. We passed through small villages, enjoyed incredibly delicious local lunches, and stayed overnight at Su’s homestay, which had beautiful, well-equipped, and very comfortable rooms, plus a fantastic dinner. Tung was always by our side, explaining so much about her family, daily life in the villages, and how Sapa has changed over the past 20 years. We also learned a lot about the culture of the Black Hmong and other communities living in the area, which made the experience even more meaningful. On the second day, we planned to hike through the rainforest, but due to heavy rain, it wasn’t safe. Instead, we visited a waterfall — although the water flow was low because it was the end of the dry season, it was still a beautiful and peaceful spot. The hikes, the conversations, and the overall atmosphere made this trip truly unforgettable. We visited in early April 2025 and can absolutely recommend this experience! If you wanna see the full beauty of the rice fields then visit in July / August.
Excellent experience. Exceeded my expectations. This tour company is Hmong owned which was important to us. We took a one day private tour for just the two of us with our assigned guide, Dzu (or Zhu) who was knowledgeable and experienced. She lives in the valley and was able to answer all of our questions about the villages, her family's life and the Hmong people. She took us on an excellent path, often times away from the large standard group tours. I would definitely recommend Trekking Tour Sapa over other less personal choices. FYI some of our hiking, although not advanced, was not for first-timers/beginners. We do a lot of hiking but if you do not then be sure to let Trekking Tour know so they can customize your trek for you.
The trek was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was well organized and our guide, So, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and happily answered the many questions we had. The food was delicious and the homestay was such a great experience. We learned so much about indigo plants, the process of growing and harvesting rice, and about the culture and customs of the local communities. I would highly recommend the two day trek!
I had the best time on the 4 day trek with Zhu! She was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about everything, and even taught us some words in her language! She took us on some great off-road tracks and showed us the most amazing scenery. The homestays were also wonderful, with welcoming hosts and great food. It was an amazing experience which I would 100% recommend!
We just finished 2 days trekking tour through Hmong villages with our kind and patient tour guide Mae. For me, as someone with no hiking experience, the tour was a bit challenging. Some parts were not easy to overcome but our tour guide helped me a lot. We were also lucky with weather, as the path would be much more slippery if it was raining. Good hiking shoes definitely recommended. During the tour, we stayed at a very nice and cosy homestay where we also got delicious dinner. Generally, all the meals we got were delicious, and they also accommodated our dietary requirements. Overall, this experience was very enjoyable, physically challenging but mainly, eye opening. I got to see and learn a lot about Hmong way of living thanks to our tour guide. So once again, big thanks again to Mae!
