Quế Homestay

My 4 weeks at Quế Homestay have been one of the most special times in my life! Spontaneously arriving at this place, I decided quick to stay a bit longer with Nghi and his lovely family! The village is a calm and authentic place, the landscape beautiful and all the people I met were so nice and welcoming to me, unbelievable (thank you everybody!) Nghi became during that time a really good friend to me and after he told me about his future ideas, I could fortunately support him a little bit by painting a wall at his Homestay. I cannot recommend this place enough, since you have everything you want to see when travelling. Wonderful people, authentic village, beautiful landscape, really delicious food and Nghi is also a very experienced guide, who can show you around, tell you everything about the different ethnics and take you for a hike. Hopefully I will find the time one day to come back to my friends here - wish you all the best!

My time here was like staying with family, I can not recommend this place enough, great location and great atmosphere, don't miss out on this experience

This is the best homestay in Mai Chau district, I knew : good service , delicious food and I'm lucky for drinking alcohol with host. If anyone travel in Hoa Minh, Que homestay is the best.

Staying at Que Homestay was one of the most memorable experiences in Vietnam for me, as I got to briefly be part of the local White Thai peoples' lives in Mai Chau. I recommend this homestay if you want to see a side of Vietnam you can't see if you just stay in the biggest cities or only stay in the touristy areas of Mai Chau. The family has lived in this village for generations and the host, Nghi, speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. I highly recommend going on a tour with him! Lastly but very importantly, the food I had here was one of the best meals I had in Vietnam, no joke. Nghi and his family are serious about whipping up the most delicious meals for you throughout your stay. In my opinion, much better than the meals I had at some fancy restaurants in Vietnam!

Loved the place, peaceful and run by a lovely kind family. Food was delicious and lots of vegetarian options available ☺️

Phòng đẹp, sạch sẽ, host thân thiện, chu đáo, mình đi sau kì nghỉ 1/5 nên vắng không có ai, chị chủ cho mình ở phòng xịn nhất với giá rẻ nhất. Đồ ăn ngon, chị lấy giá rất rẻ, cảnh đẹp, yên tĩnh, ít khách du lịch. Vị trí hơi cách xa trung tâm nên không có nhiều hoạt động, thích hợp đến nghỉ dưỡng, đi bộ, đạp xe, trecking. Mọi người nên ở lại đây nhé

Four of us stayed here recently for just one night and absolutely loved it. We are already thinking about when we can get back and stay for longer. There are great hikes all over the area that we’d love to explore. The two rooms we had each had their own private bathrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable. The food was great. The little village is calm and peaceful. Nghi is a fantastic host. Very kind, knowledgeable f the area. I really can’t recommend this highly enough.
