These people were awesome. So friendly. Booked my ticket for half the price that the actual airline was trying to charge me online. I walked a long way to find them but it was worth it
Dont use this airline. They messed up both international and domestic flights on the same trip. Left my bag at the previous airport because of an issue which i was not told about until my bag did not come around the carousel???? Made me pay, to get my bag delivered the next night. And when i did get my bag a strap. Which had to be deliberately taken off was removed. Avoid this airline at all costs
We flew with VietJet Air from Brisbane to Phu Quoc, and this was without question one of the worst airline experiences we have ever had. To start with, online check-in was not even possible, which already set the tone. Upon arrival in Phu Quoc, we discovered that our checked baggage was missing. What followed was three full days without our luggage. During those three days, we had nothing: no clothes, no sunscreen, no personal items at all. Instead of proactive support from VietJet, we had to chase them ourselves constantly — phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails — over and over again. If we had not pushed so hard, I am convinced we would never have seen our luggage again. When the baggage finally arrived in Phu Quoc, the situation became even more ridiculous. We were told we would be charged for a courier delivery, despite the fact that losing the luggage was entirely VietJet’s fault. This is absolutely unacceptable. Because of this, I had to drive to the airport myself to collect our luggage. Even then, VietJet staff told us they would maybe deliver it the next day or even the day after, claiming they “did not have time” to arrange it sooner. This excuse was insulting, especially since when I arrived at the airport, more than five people from both VietJet and Lost & Found were sitting on their phones doing nothing. So the question remains: why was there supposedly no time to deliver our baggage earlier? After long discussions, I pursued compensation for three days without luggage for two people. The result? A 400,000 VND voucher. That is the airline’s idea of compensation for three days without clothes, toiletries, or basic necessities. Frankly, it is embarrassing. On top of that, giving a voucher instead of real compensation forces the customer to spend more money with the same airline that caused the problem in the first place. That is not compensation — that is an insult. This entire experience shows a complete lack of responsibility, customer care, and professionalism. Mistakes can happen, but how an airline handles them says everything. VietJet handled this situation terribly from start to finish. Never again. I would strongly advise others to avoid VietJet Air if they value their time, belongings, and peace of mind.
Vietjet airlines is very economical way to fly from India to vietnam. I used this airlines to fly from Ahmedabad to Da nang(Vietnam) and used this same airlines to fly back from Hanoi to Mumbai on my ret urn to India. This airlines is offering its services at a very competative rate which no other airlines is offering. The flight took off on time and arrived on time.
