We've missed this restaurant. We used to come here quite often as it's one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in London. We haven't had the chance to visit lately. We finally were able to come visit again today. The food and service is still as great as ever. Highly recommended!

Food was nice enough and service was relatively quick because we went just after they opened. Got very busy around 7:30! We shared a starter, had a main each and had a dessert each as well. I asked for a scoop of broth for my leftover noodles and they insisted that it wasn’t possible which was stingy… it wasn’t like we ordered a starter each? Overall, not amazing and not terrible.
Phenomenal food, great service, bargain price and a Hoxton's staple for always satisfying my endless hunger for Viet food :) . Must-trys (for me) are soft shell crab, bun bo hue/pho and char grilled pork w/ rice.
Whats happened to this place ? My spicy squids landed first on other table then after couple minutes moved eventually to my one It wasn't festival of flavors but czech movie /drama The squid was very hard and dry. A guy named Tom apologized for the mistake and the long waiting time, even offering crackers, but I ended up paying for them. Don't get me wrong; I appreciate the gesture. However, the food and service were much better ten years ago
Terribly disappointing experience. The food looks decent, but was either bland, too sugary or way too salty. Lime? Chili? Coriander? The salt and pepper squid was unpleasantly salty and the caramelised fish almost inedible. The worst vietnamese restaurant in London? A victim of its own success? The service was acceptable but very uninspired and the staff clearly wanted to be somewhere else…
Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The food was amazing — the salt and chilli tofu, in particular, was the best I’ve ever tasted. Full of flavour, perfectly crispy, just incredible. The service was exceptional. I have a shellfish allergy, and the waitress went out of her way to ensure my food was cooked in fresh oil — such thoughtful and reassuring care. The drinks were equally outstanding — from the gin to the white wine selection, everything was top quality. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were so kind. I genuinely woke up the next day craving the food all over again. If I could return every week, I would. Easily the best Vietnamese food in London. Highly recommend
Thank you Harry for being so sweet and pleasant during our meal! We really appreciated your positive attitude and kindness. Great meal and quick service - we will be back!
Only grabbed the banh xeo for a light lunch. The crepe was cooked perfectly to a satisfying crunch, and the filling had a nice amount of wok hei. Somewhat stingy on the meat but I think that this is either a London thing or that they're expecting that people order this as an appetizer. Anyway, I would suggest that 1) the lettuce leaves provided be larger as it was difficult to wrap everything into a neat bite and 2) the fish sauce be provided in something larger as it was hard to take my relatively large wrap and dip it in the tiny dish of sauce.
